Did a childhood brain tumour trigger my synaesthesia?
20 March 2005
Question
I was 35 when I realised that I had synaesthesia but no-one in my family has it. I was wondering if it was the brain tumour I had when I was young that triggered it off?
Answer
For most people that we've met that have synaesthesia, it has started when they were very young. It was therefore likely to be there before you had a tumour.
