I have 4 hens and one rooster in separated cages, all besides the other. The roster is in the middle cage. The left hen is not laying eggs for a while.The right hen lays from time to time. For my surprise, when I went to look for eggs there was an egg in the rooster cage. The cage is made of a mesh of 0.5 x 1 inch and the egg measure more than that. That's why I was looking for this possibility.
