Hello, I believe it should be noted that the Inca Trail described is NOT the only way to reach Machu Picchu. I understand it adds to the "hard-to-reach" narrative but it is important to clarify so as not to deter people from visiting. A 30 min bus ride is available from the neighboring town of Aguas Calientes.
