UK-Japan Young Scientists Workshop: Engineering

Young scientists from UK and Japan got engaged in science communication.
26 July 2016
Presented byLucka Bibic.

Students from schools in England and Japan came to Cambridge to get a sense of the scientific research going on around the University. To better understand how scientists can communicate their work, one group of 8 students, led by Lucka Bibic, were tasked with making a podcast about the projects the students were involved in. We hear how turbomachinery powers the world around us, learn more about compressor blade designs and how mechanical engineers face the shared challenge of maximizing energy efficiency. This podcast was produced by Alex Hurtado, Nabiha Qadir, Subatheena Vimalanathan and Hajime Ueda.
