A 1960 autopsy specimen from a 50 year old woman who had noticed a lump in her right breast 5.5 months prior to her death. She was treated with radiotherapy. She was noticed to be anaemic and vaginal examination showed stage 3 carcinoma of the cervix. Cystoscopy showed bladder infiltration and biopsy showed squamous carcinoma of the cervix. She died after vaginal haemorrhage.
