(a) A 1952 operative resection specimen from a 32 year old, admitted with lower abdominal pain, vomiting, headache, and stiffness of the neck. At the age of eleven she had had TB peritonitis. (b) An operative resection specimen from a 42 year old who had complained of pain in the left groin for six weeks. Examination revealed a lump in the left side of the pelvis and vaginal palpation showed masses which virtually filled the pelvis. Successful operative removal of the pelvic organs was effected. (c) An operative resection specimen from a 22 year old admitted for lower abdominal pain.
