Two surgical resection specimens. The first,consists of half of an amputated left foot showing a well marked mycetoma arising from the plantar surface and occupying most of the soft tissue and encroaching on the metatarsal bones and small joints of the foot. The second,comprising half of an amputated right foot. showing numerous greyish white nodules measuring up to 2.0 cm in diameter, on the skin surface with multiple granulomatous foci in the subcutaneous tissue and in the tarsal and metatarsal bones of the foot.
