01 May 2011
Presented bySebastian Lucas.
Autopsy sections of the Heart from 3 different people, mounted together. (1) A lesion in which necrosis has caused aneurysmal bulging with leakage of blood under the pericardium - and eventual rupture. (2) A lesion in which the infarct has become replaced by scar tissue, the bulging cavity of which is partly filled by laminated clot. (3) An infarct which has healed by scar formation without complication.
