First specimen: A surgical resection specimen from a 66 year old woman, admitted from Guernsey for investigation of a large mass, thought to be renal in origin, in the right hypochondrium. On examination there was a large non-tender mass arising in the right hypochondrium and extending into the right iliac fossa. At laparotomy in July 1965 a large mucocoele of the gallbladder was found. There was a calcified gallstone plugging the cystic duct. Cholecystectomy was performed. Second specimen: A surgical resection specimen no clinical details available.
