One of the problems with recycling plastics is that if you take different kinds of plastic and put them together, they don't mix at all well, so you don't end up with a good product. The ability to sort plastics which you are hearing about is really transforming that. So, there is a variety and it's a question of, what end-product you're trying to make, whether recycled plastic is good enough for it.
