An operative resection specimen from a 20 year old woman from Pakistan who presented with right iliac fossa pain three days after a successful elective closure of an atrial septal defect. Clinical examination revealed a mass in the right iliac fossa Laparotomy showed this to be an indurated caecum mass. A right hemicolectomy was performed and the patient received a course of Metronidazole. There were no post-operative complications.
